Will the Ceiling Garnish for Fan-Tastic Vents Roof Vents Fit a 13-1/2 Inch x 13-1/2 Inch Opening

Question:

My garnish measures 13.5 x 13.5 for the which is 6” tall. The ceiling mounting flange measures 16 1/8 “ x 16 1/8”. Not sure where the 14 1/4” measurement comes from. Will this work for me? Thanks

The roof vent dimensions of 14" x 14" or 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" are an industry standard. I would say around 95% (if not more) of all roof vents follow these standard dimension. The variances you are seeing most likely have to do with measuring from different points. I would be willing to bet the Ceiling Garnish for Fan-Tastic Vents Roof Vent part # FVK1060-81 will work for you but the only way I would be able to tell for certain is if you could provide me with the model number on your roof vent which is usually on a sticker under the screen.
