The hitch that you will need for the cargo carrier on the 2019 Dodge Journey is Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit part # 75648 because it provides about 2 inches more ground clearance then the other options. Good hitch clearance is important when carrying a cargo carrier because you a less likely to scrape the ground with the carrier in low ground clearance situations. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
For the cargo carrier I recommend Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Black part # C18113 because of it's aluminum construction and design. The Curt Cargo Carrier measures 49" long x 22-1/2" wide x 4" tall so it will be plenty of enough room for your wife's flea market treasures. Also it is aluminum which looks nice and only weighs 25 lbs so it easier to put into the hitch compared to other options that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
