How difficult would it be to get another, longer piece of hose and swap it out, to make the pigtail longer?

For a tank filler with shut off that would be the easiest to swap a longer hose onto you'd want the Valterra part # A01-0035VP which the hose slips onto a brass fitting of.
There really isn't a great way to remove the hose of the # A01-0031VP to replace it with a longer one.
