Question:
I am installing the 52506 transmission cooler on my 2005 2500 Silverado. The 6AN female swivel fittings sent do not fit the cooler. They are 3/8” female and the cooler has from my measuring 1/2” female threads. I need the male threaded adapter to a Gm Trans line snap in fitting. The cooler lines up perfectly so I don’t have to use any hose. Can you help?? Thanks.

The Derale 25-Row, High-Performance, Stacked-Plate Cooler part # D52506 comes with -10 AN female fittings. It also comes with a reducer that adapts this -10 AN female fitting to a male -6 AN fitting (see photo) so that you can then use the Derale -6 AN Female Swivel x 3/8" Barb Hose Fitting part # D98200.
If the Derale 25-Row, High-Performance, Stacked-Plate Cooler did not come with this reducer then please just let me know but it should have. In regards to the other fitting you are looking for, I have not yet heard of this before. The recommend option is to run the line from the cooler to the radiator with the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM part # D13035.
