Solution for Kwikee 25 Series RV Step with Broken Control Module

Question:

I purchased this controller to replace a Kwikee controller# 909509000 as recommended by Lippert Components. It does not function properly. Step will not fully retract, step retracts whenever door is closed, will not fully retract when ign. key is on. Can you direct me in the proper direction?? Step is mounted on 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 35A. Kwikee step #902508000, date of production 09/13/2004. Any help will be much appreciated, Thank you, Dennis Reed

What Lippert should have told you to get is the # LC379804 which is designed to replace the older style of step motor electronics in your Kwikee 25 Series step and bring it to the current style. This is why your steps aren't working properly. This comes with everything needed and replaces the motor as well as a few other things. With this you'll have almost a brand new step setup.
