The Lippert 1116 5th Wheel Pin Box part # LC1270271 is the replacement pin box for a trailer that came with a Lippert 1116 pin box on the trailer from the manufacturer. You would need to know the brand and model number of your current 1988 Jayco Fifth wheel Pin box to know for sure if the Lippert will fit. Usually the brand and model information is on a sticker on the existing pin box. If you are able to find the information on the sticker please let me know and I can help you further.
If the pin box does not have a sticker, you can measure the existing pin box to determine the correct replacement. I have attached a tremendously helpful article that walks you through the steps of measuring your current pin box to find the replacement.
