Will this work on a 2005 F350 that has a Curt 16448 custom install 5th wheel hitch plate kits?

Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2400 fit the 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty with the Curt Fifth wheel rails and brackets part # C16448-204 because they do not install in the same location. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
I recommend to add an air compressor with the air springs part # F2097 so you do not have to carry a bulky portable compressor around with you every time you need to fill the bags.
