Will Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Bags Install On 2008 Ford F-350 With Underbed 5th Wheel Rail Kit

Question:

I have a 18k Demco auto sliding hitch with under mount kit purchased from etrailer. It's a 08 ford f350 srw 4x4 short bed. Will I be able to install these air bags. I don't care if I'd have to drill a few extra holes.

I contacted the manufacturer and they are confident that you will not have any challenges mounting and installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Bag Kit, Item # AL57398, in your 2008 Ford F-350 4x4 short bed. The Air Lift installs on the inboard side of the frame member and the mounting bracket uses an existing hole in the truck frame. If the hole is not blocked by the Demco fifth wheel install bracket then you are good to go.
