Question:

I recently purchased a new truck cap with Yakima CoreBar crossbars. My Thule Hullavator 897 not the more current 898 Pro under bar brackets for square Thule crossbars do not fit my new aero shaped Thule CoreBar. Is there a retrofit under bar bracket you could recommend to allow mounting Hullavator 897 to new Yakima CoreBars? Thank you.

I do have an option for you but there is not any sort of adapter that will allow the Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier TH897 to be used with the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars like part # Y00423. The most cost effective option I have for you to use the Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier is to switch out the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars for the Yakima JetStream Crossbars like part # Y00426 and then obtain the Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier 897 Track Mount Adapter part 7521383001 from Thule. If you don't want to change out the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars then you would just need to upgrade to the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898.
