Troubleshooting Powered Trailer Jack That Will Lower But Not Raise
Updated 07/02/2019 | Published 07/01/2019 >
Question:
On a Lance camper with the New Atwood Jack System In 2007-2008 when the truck became a dually hauling it. Live in Washington State had a weird 2018-2019 winter. Was going to move my camper but the front driver side jack would not work electronically going up just going down. Any suggestions on how to get it to work again completely without having to manually jack it up? All the other jacks work good.

First thing I'd check is make sure the battery on the trailer has a good charge and all of the wiring of the jack and switches are making solid connections. If a powered jack doesn't want to work properly it's very common that the issue is related to the battery or the wiring. Let me know if that checks out. Since we don't carry Atwood jacks any more we'll have to set you up with a new landing gear set.
