Question:

My question is because I am a little confused can you use this kit if you have an after market lift kit on the truck?

Yes, you can install a set of airbags on your lifted 2008 Ford F-150. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2350. However, if you have any sort of lift block under the factory bump stop contact point (see photo) then you would need to obtain a longer set of carriage bolts for your local hardware store in order to attach the axle strap brackets. If there is not any sort of lift block under the factory bump stop contact point then odds are you just need to obtain a spacer equal to the actual lift (not advertised lift) in the rear of your truck using one of the below in the attached link.

I am looking to install this kit but I am unable to find the spacer i am needing. Install will be on a 2006 F150 XLT 2WD with at 2" Block under the factory leaf springs.

Since the air bags themselves take up some space Firestone has put together a formula that you can use to help you determine what kind of spacer you need. To figure out the needed spacer simply measure the distance between where the brackets would be and choose from the following: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2" - 9-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2367 9-1/2" - 10-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2370 11-1/2" - 12-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2374

I have just installed my 2" lift block and was planning on adding the air bags at the same time but my bracket isn't sitting right. My 2wd truck didn't have a factory block under the leaf springs so the steel piece that is stiking out (where the red arrow is pointing at from above) In turn the bracket isn't sitting right on the axle.I have a couple pictures too. Is there another bracket that I could go with? Not sure what my options are?

@Joe Is your lift block installed correctly? If something isn't sitting right then I'd make sure the lift block is installed properly.
