Where to Install Scissor Jacks on 5th Wheel Trailer with Stabilizer Jacks

Question:
Have a 5th wheel with 2 stabilizer jacks in the rear and front landing gear. Want to add 2 additional scissor stabilizer jacks. Where should they be placed

Expert Reply:
The best place to add the scissor jacks would be the rear corners of the trailer frame as that will give you the most stabilization and it's the standard location for installing them. If you have a set already installed there then I would go right at about half way between the landing gear jacks and the current scissor jacks.
