I need the hitch in a 2018 hatchback civic

The best hitch for carrying a bike rack on a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback without center exhaust is the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C92UR because it provides 2 more inches of ground clearance compared to the other option. The Curt provides about 11 inches of ground clearance, so the bike rack is less likely to drag the ground in low ground clearance situations like backing down a hill. It is also a concealed cross tube design so you will not see the bulky cross tube on the Honda Civic which a lot of our customers like about the design.
If you do not have a bike rack already, I recommend the Class I hitch compatible Kuat Beta part # B202-114. The best thing about the Kuat Beta is it only weighs 12.6 lbs so it is easy to put into the hitch and pin it. It also tilts away for full or partial access to the rear cargo area for a cold drink after a long bike ride. I have attached a video of the bike rack on a 2012 Honda Civic for your reference. I do recommend adding the Kuat Bike Lock part # HL1 to lock the rack to the hitch and Cable Lock part # 8419DPF to lock the bikes to the rack.
Please keep in mind if you are using a women's or children's bike on the rack with a slanted top tube, you will need a frame bar adapter part # 64005 to give the bike a horizontal bar to hang from on the rack.
