Hello, do you know if this Curt hitch on a 2007 IS350 is compatible with the Brophy hitch adapter HT5R? I looked at the dimensions in both videos and it looks to be a close fit between the adapter and bumper. Thank you!

We have not yet had a chance to test fit the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11372 on a 2007 Lexus IS 350 so I would not be able to guarantee the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver with 5" Rise # HT5R will be able to give you the rise you want while clearing your bumper.

That said, when we test fit the Curt hitch on a 2012 IS 350, which is the same generation as your 2007, it measured 5-1/2" from the hitch pin hole to your bumper, and the Brophy adapter extends 7" which means it has a good chance to work.

Your other option, if you simply need a 1-1/4" to 2" adapter, is to use one without rise, the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HTAD. The only thing to note is that when using any adapter, the tongue weight capacity of your hitch will be reduced by 50 percent, which means on the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11372 that fits your '07 Lexus IS 350 your tongue weight capacity will be 100 lbs.
