Using the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G does void the manufacturer's warranty on some 5th wheel trailers because of the added stress that it puts onto the frame. To determine if this is the case for you though you will just want to contact your trailer's manufacturer.

For a trailer mounted adapter that doesn't have this same issue I recommend taking a look at a Reese Goose Box like the 20K # RP85FR. These are designed to actually replace the existing pin box on the trailer to provide a gooseneck coupler to attach to the ball in your truck. Because it doesn't put the same kind of stress on the frame as the Convert-A-Ball and other similar adapters it is typically approved for use by trailer manufacturers.

This particular Goose Box is designed to replace the Lippert 1621, 1621HD, and 0719 pin box. If you have a different model pin box on your trailer please let me know and I will be happy to see if there is a suitable alternative.
