Is the housing made of plastic or is it painted metal?

The black housing of the Opti-Brite LED Strip Light w/ Switch for RV Awnings - Weatherproof - Black Housing - 11" Long # ILL70CBSBAWN is made of polycarbonate which is an extremely strong thermoplastic.
