Question:
My Thule 589 bike carrier and Magnum Sport Pak roof top box both attach to a Thule square bar and not the integrated bars on my new 2019 Outback. Unfortunately, the fit kit 4063 for the Outback only allows 24.5” between cross bars, so I am now looking at a Yakima Skyline Towers and Landing Pad 15. Two questions if I go w this Yakima setup: 1 Can I use my 50” Thule square bars rather than the Yakima core bar and 2 Can I use the Thule lock set in lieu of a new Yakima lock set? Thx

Thule and Yakima roof rack components are not compatible with each other. You can't use Thule crossbars with the feet of a Yakima kit.
The Yakima Skyline/Jetstream roof rack part numbers # Y00425, # Y53TR, and # Y00241 do have a wider spread at 29-1/2 inches though so this would be a great option for you. You'd also need the Yakima lock set too with part # Y07204.
