I have a 2013 Chevy Sonic turbo LT hatchback. Will this particular rack fit my car and would I need anything extra needed to install the rack?

I checked with the manufacturer and the Saris Solo 1-Bike Carrier # SA102 will absolutely fit your 2013 Chevy Sonic hatchback perfectly!
You will not need anything else to install the rack, though with any hanging bike rack, if your bike is dual-suspension or has a step-through frame you'll need Saris Bike Beam Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # SA3040 because it will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack.
