The EcoHitch Trailer Hitch # 306-X7235 is not a fit for your 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. There is not a 2 inch receiver option for your vehicle, but there is a hidden cross tube option confirmed to fit. It is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" #C92UR . This hitch requires removing the bumper for installation and then installs in that location allowing the bumper fascia to cover it for a nice clean look. I've attached a video of this installation on a sedan, which it also fits, to assist.
I've also attached the installation instructions that have very clear pictures to assist.
