Will this model fit a 2019 Toyota Highlander without hitting the rear door is fully open? Thank you

We have not tested the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 part # Y95AV on the 2019 Toyota Highlander for rear hatch clearance as of yet. However, it is very easy to figure out if you will have clearance based on a couple of measurements of your roof rack cross bars. There must be 47" between the center of the front crossbar and line where the roof and hatch meet for proper rear hatch clearance. If your measurement is more than 47" then the rear hatch will not touch the SkyBox NX 16.

If you measure at 47" or less I recommend the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box part # Y07192 instead, because it is only requires 45" of clearance. I have attached a video that shows the RocketBox on a Toyota Highlander.
