Installation of BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover Drain Tubes on 2017 Honda Ridgeline

Question:

Is a drain needed for the cover? I dont have drain plugs in my bed cover. My vehicle is a 2017 Honda Ridgeline.

The BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Matte Finish # BAK48602 is a fit for your 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The drain tubes install in a different location on your vehicle. I reached out to my tech contact and he said there is a bolt in the bed floor of your truck that gets removed for that drain tube to install in. The hole is slightly smaller than the diameter of the tube so they recommend making 4 very small slices like a pizza to allow that tube to fit that hole and the tube will be flexible enough to have a water tight fit.
