Question:

We have a 2018 Subaru Outback Tour. This vehicle has the low profile roof rails. It came with a Thule rack system with aero cross bars. We would like to carry two kayaks that would require the hullavator adjusted out to the max. Does Thule make an aero bar that is long enough to accommodate our needs. I know I could switch to the square bars, but that would require buying new towers also. If Thule can not do it, is there another manufacturer that makes a crossbar that fits our current towers? I cannot sign off without thanking you for this website, Thule should take a page from your book. Thank you for putting up with this long winded note. Dont forget you said a picture makes a question great.

Your 2018 Subaru Outback Touring can use the Thule Podium Foot Pack for Aero Bars # TH460R which is likely what you have and fit kit # THKIT4052. If this is what you already have then you can simply use the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 60" Long - Qty 2 # TH711520 which is 13 inches longer than the recommended bars for that rack. This will give you the 4-8 inch measurement past the towers needed for the Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898.

Your other option is to use the ProBar Evo # TH713600 which will fit Thule feet/towers and can be cut to custom length because the channels run the entire length. This is my recommendation because the channels where the feet mount aren't limited like the 9-3/4 inches of the WingBars.
