The B&W Rubber Cover # BWGNXA1710 attaches to the backside of a flipped over hitch ball. The four rubber plugs hold the cover to the bottom of the ball with a friction fit. If instead you have a totally open ball socket the cover you'd need is the part # BWGNXA1715.
