How To Use the Thule Hullavator on a 2017 GMC Yukon XL

Question:

Can not get a clear answer- i have a 2017 yukon xl with factory raised rails. I also have uninstalled factory cross rails How can i fit the hullavator- what do i need? What is a good alternative.

In order to install the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on your 2017 GMC Yukon XL with flush side rails (only option) you must have an aftermarket roof rack with at least 4" of overhang past the mounting feet. The factory roof rack for your Yukon XL does not have this overhang which is why you need to go aftermarket. I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA165B-2, part # RRRCH4, and part # RRRCP43-BK.
