Do they work with a 1 inch bar? It says up to a 1 1/4 but not down to.

I reached out to my tech contact at Yakima and all their bike rack bars that the cradles fit on are 1-1/4 inches so the cradle # Y8890177 will not work with a 1 inch diameter bar. The good news is if you have a Yakima rack, this will fit. On the flip side, if you want 1 inch diameter compatible cradles we do have one!
For 1 inch diameter bars I recommend the Replacement Anti-Sway Cradle and Standard Cradle for Hollywood Racks Bike Carrier with 1" Arms # HR745AS. I've attached a video to further assist.
