Question:
I see from the Q and A section of your website that the factory GM pigtail, # 3016-S, behind the panel where the trailer brake control would normally be, can be used with the Subject Redarc brake controller. Will the instructions I receive with the Redarc controller tell which wire will go where on the GM pigtail? I have a 2017 Silverado 1500. Thanks,

The easiest solution to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR you referenced in your 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 is going to be with the install harness part # 331-TPH-010 which plugs directly into the controller and into the port under the dash of your truck without any splicing required.
If you instead went with the # 3016-S you'd actually match the wires color for color to the brake controller not the truck and then plug the connector in on your truck instead.
