It can be difficult to carry a women's bike on hanging style bike racks, like the Thule OutWay # TH45JV. If you can get the arms inside the frame the bikes sit very awkward and are difficult to get on and off.

The solution is a bike frame adapter bar. The bar installs between the seat post and the handlebar stem creating a horizontal bar just like a typical men's bike has. Pretty much every bike rack manufacturer offers one and I've linked our complete selection. I favor the Swagman Deluxe, part # 64005, because the clamps open to the side instead of up and down which can be difficult to do under your bike's seat. The Swagman also happens to be one of the more economical options as well.

I've also linked a couple videos for you; one of the adapter bar being demonstrated and other showing the Raceway PRO being installed on a Honda Civic.
