How can I tell if the drum is bad? The part where the magnet rides on is a bit warped. 9-44 drum. Dexter axles 10k.

You could take the drum to a machine shop that can turn drums to see if it's good or bad, but typically if you can tell yours is warped it's probably time to replace it. For a 10k Dexter brake drum we have the part # 8-430-5UC3 which is an exact replacement.
