Which crossbars do I need to install a Hullavator on my 2018 terrain? Can a Hullavator install on a cargoloc crossbar?

There is a perfect roof rack for your 2018 GMC Terrain that will allow you to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist # TH898. Though we do not carry the CargoLoc, based on my research of these bars they are probably not going to give you the necessary width to be able to use the Hullavator, which requires the crossbars to extend 4" to 8" beyond the roof rack's feet.

What I know will work to use the Hullavator is the outstanding Yakima JetStream Roof Rack that fits your 2018 GMC Terrain and consists of the following parts:

- Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425
- TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y33TR

These crossbars give you 50" of usable space, and as you can see by the accompanying photos of this roof rack installed on a Terrain, the bars are going to extend past your car so you will have the necessary space needed to use the Hullavator.

Apart from being able to mount the Hullavator # TH898 the JetStream roof rack is both quiet and durable. Their aerodynamic shape combines with their built-in WindRidges to ensure the roof rack minimizes any type of wind noise that other types of crossbars can create. They are made of anodized aluminum to ensure they last; the bars are so strong in fact that they come with a lifetime warranty.

The only thing I recommend is to add the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) locks # Y07204 to lock the rack to your Terrain and help protect your investment.
