Troubleshooting DVD Playing in Black and White with Jensen RV Stereo

DVD plays in black and white..no color.

I reached out to my contact at Jensen regarding the issues you're having with your Jensen Stereo like the # JWM60A that you referenced. She said if the screen is black and white when playing a DVD then most likely the source on the TV itself just needs to be changed.
If you happen to also have a Jensen TV then the screen will in fact be black and white if the source is on AV when playing a DVD. The correct source for DVD on the Jensen sets is COMPONENT.
If you have a different brand TV you will just want to check its settings and source to make sure the correct selections are made. You might just need to toggle through the various source options until you find the one that gives you full color and sound when playing a DVD.
