Turn your RV into a true home on the road with room for guests. This trifold loveseat gives you roomy seating by day and a comfy extra bed by night without the clutter of a traditional sleeper.
Sometimes guests are planned, and sometimes surprise overnight stays happen. Make room for your grown kids, grandkids, and friends with a few simple, space-saving steps. Most sleepers will have you remove the seat cushions before you pull the hide-a-bed out, and with limited space in your camper, that's not ideal. But this isn't your typical sleeper sofa. The seat cushions stay in place. Just pop off the back cushions, pull the base up and forward, drop the legs, then fold the backrest forward until it's flat. Use the back cushions as your headboard or pillows. You'll have less clutter on the floor to trip over and everyone will have a comfortable place to sleep.
Narrow RV doors shouldn't stop you from replacing your tired, peeling furniture. This sofa arrives in sections you can carry into your camper and put it together where it's going to live. Before you order, measure your entry door and the spot you want to set your new sofa up in, giving yourself room to unfold the trifold deck when you have it in place. And when it comes in, you'll have a sofa you can get through the door without scuffing up the upholstery. You'll be able to move around it, open the fridge, and have a modern, upgraded look you can feel good about.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Thomas Payne trifold RV loveseat. It's gonna be 80 inches long overall in a nice Danbury Java color. Now folks, this trifold sofa does convert out to a bed. It has a fold out base and top, and then the sofa is just a nice hook and loop hold on the back rest.
So I'm gonna go ahead and pull this out and show you just how it works. So to start, you wanna take off these headrest cushions, and like I said, they're just a simple hook and loop design on the back, that's what's holding them in place. And while I got this here, I wanna show you a better closeup of the fabric color with a nice surface. It kind of feels like leather, but it has a different texture to it than that. And then you would remove your other side.
And then from here we're gonna simply lift up the base. And then once you've got it here, you've got two legs you can fold out. Now, there is one pin here for an adjustment. If you had, let's say a slide out and it dropped a little bit lower than the floor of the rest of your RV or camper, you could lower this, make the height a little shorter if you want. And once you get that height set, you won't have to ever adjust it again in that same camper because it's always gonna be at the right height.
Then you come to the opposite side, hold that one down, pull the whole thing out, just like that. Then you simply fold down the headrest. Now you have your bed. These cushions, because of the shape of everything, I like to put the thin slot right here on the back, and now I've got a headrest on that side and the other side once I get 'em both in place, Now I have a nice bed. As you can see, it's very, very wide, 80 inches overall, you could easily fit two adults on here with plenty of space.
It is actually pretty comfortable, believe it or not. Low-maintenance, it's a durable upholstery, once again, that looks and feels just like leather. Now, as far as setting this up and assembly out of the box, obviously it's gonna come in a freight-sized box, very large. You're gonna have to put on the four base feet. Those are three inches tall. They are a hard plastic. And then as far as the rest of the installation, this back headrest, it pivots on two hinges here and over there. And there's two bolts per side. And when we took this out of the box, those bolts we inchesre in the frame, but this piece was not bolted in place. I measured this fully assembled. I got 28 3/4 inches tall from the top of this to the ground. And then on the width, I got 33 1/2 inches wide. So if those measurements work for you and you're able to fully assemble it before you put in your camper RV, by all means, go ahead and assemble it outside, give yourself a little extra space. More often than not, you might not have those measurements, so you may have to put this together inside your camper RV or coach. And again, to put it away, we've already put the front up. Now you carefully lift up this part, watch those pinch points and those hinges, pull the legs back down. And then it's as simple as just putting the backs right back in place with the hook and loops. Just like that, folks, you have your Thomas Payne trifold RV loveseat ready to go. I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks for watching. Reach out if you have any questions, and have a good day.
