High Capacity Roof Rack Recommendation for 2017 Honda CR-V for Off-Road Application

What is the clearance from the roof of my 2017 honda cr-v with a flush mounting channel to the bottom of the installed rhino vortex rvp rack in inches or centimeters? I need to know this to see if I can open my moon roof with a surfboard on top of the rhino rack. I go off road in BAJA on surf trips and there will be some flex in the crossbar, too. thanks,

For an off-road application there's only one roof rack I can recommend for your 2017 Honda CR-V with flush rails and it's the Yakima HD roof rack part # Y01156, # Y53TR, # Y03541, and # Y00245. This rack has a 500 lb capacity and sits far enough off of the roof of the vehicle (see picture) that you'd never have to worry about flex in the bars. You should note that the capacity of this rack is not the capacity of your roof. You'd still be limited by the weight capacity of your roof but this rack is going to have enough capacity that it would not flex.
