Question:
hi, hope you are doing well? I have Hyundai elantra 2015 sports. I want to connect my smart rearview mirror with my fuse box? I have a very little understanding on this things. which fuse should I chose to connect the mirror? does fuse color matters? does all fuse supply 12V? normally all mirrors supports 12V, should I choose the Cig lighter fuse? Thank you.

If your Smart Rearview Mirror is like the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System - 4.3" Mirror Monitor # RVS-091407 then you can use any 12V power that is connected to your ignition switch to tap into. Most cigarette lighter/12V accessory will use a switched power like this. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to confirm this. Some systems will allow power to that circuit after you turn the vehicle off until the driver's door is opened, so you will want to check that as well.
You don't want a 12V source that isn't switched because the monitor will constantly draw power in that instance and will drain your vehicle battery. You can use the Firestone Fuse Circuit Tap Kit # F2526 if you don't want to splice into existing wiring.
