Replacement Water Heater for Atwood GC6A-7E

Question:

I have a 1993 Dutchman Royal 5th wheel that the water heater doesn’t work. The model currently in there is an Atwood GC6A-7E. What would the replacement be for a gas/electric DSI?

I reached out to my contact at Dometic Atwood and she said that the correct water heater to replace your existing model GC6A-7E is the Atwood # AT96117. This will be a perfect replacement that features a 6 gallon tank and an 8,800 Btu heating capacity.
