You sell a trailer hitch for this model car but in 1 1/4 inch Does it not come in a regular 2 inch hitch ?

Expert Reply:
All of the hitches available for the 2008 Hyundai Accent are Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch receivers because of its limited towing capacity. The Accent's weight capacity is 849 pounds including cargo, occupants and tongue weight. The hitch manufacturers do not want their customers to exceed the vehicle's tongue weight rating so they only manufacture lower tongue weight rated hitches for those vehicles. All the hitches available for the Accent have a 200 lb tongue weight limit.
If the Accent is a Hatchback, I recommend Draw-Tite hitch part # 24795. If it is a Sedan, I recommend Curt part # C11094.
For the wiring, I recommend Hopkins plug-in simple wiring harness part # HM11143944. This is the only plug and play harness that does not require hardwiring for the Hyundai Accent.
If you are towing a small trailer, you need a ball mount that fits a Class I hitch. I have attached a link of the Class I ball mounts we offer.
