I am looking for a trailer hitch for my 2005 Hyundai elantra GLS 4 dr sedan. I plan to use it to tow a 4x8 trailer empy weight:800 lbs, so I also want to know the maximum weight this car can tow safely? Thanks

For a hitch for your 2005 Hyundai Elantra you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11220 that has a 2,000 lb trailer weight capacity and a 200 lb tongue weight capacity. You will also need to check the owner's manual of your vehicle to determine what Hyundai lists as the capacity for the vehicle and be sure not to exceed the lower of the two capacities.
