12 Volt Water Pump Replacement for 2017 Open Range LightModel 297 RLS

Question:

Year: 2017 Open Range Light 5th Wheel. Model 297 RLS. Our 5th wheel came with an Artis RV Fresh Water Pump Model PDS3B-130-1260E. The first one failed. By failed I mean it would run constantly. The pressure switch adjustment wouldnt do anything. The exact replacement from the manufacturer did the same thing. We are on the third one of the same model in a little less than 2 years. I just installed the last one last fall new out of the box. I expect this one to do the same thing as its predecessors. I cannot find anywhere that sells just the pressure switch replacement. Obviously they have a design problem. I am looking for a dependable non-Artis across the board replacement.This model is 12 volt dc, 3.0 GPM, 60 PSImax pressure, 70 PSI bypass. Amp draw 7.0 Max. Fuse size 10 A. Can this P25201 replace my problem pump or do you have one that can and is dependable for more than one camping season? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump # P25201 that you referenced would be a great replacement for the water pump you have in your 2017 Open Range Light 5th wheel. It is designed basically as an exact replacement for what you have and will be much more reliable. We've had several customers come back and tell us how well this pump worked for their application.
