Question:
My 30 puma travel trailer has oem 225/75r15D tires on it with a max inflation of 65 psi. I am considering going to an E rated tire. If I do decide on St225/75r15E will I need to increase the pressure to be at the maximum 80psi?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Trailer tires that have a higher weight load range will require higher pressure. The general rule is to always inflate your trailer tires to the maximum COLD pressure noted on the sidewall.
All of our Load Range E tires in size ST225/75R15 appear on the linked page and all will handle 2830-lbs at their rated 80-psi pressure. The Karrier radial # AM10303 is a good example of a tire that would work for you.
