4-Way Recommendation for 2015 Tacoma with 7-Way
Published 04/04/2019 >
Question:
This product states without factory 7 way. Im not really going to use it for the trailer. I want to connect an under tailgate light bar that plugs into a 4 plug blade. I do not want to remove the 7 blade factory, nor do I want to put a 7 blade to 4 blade adapter to get stolen. So when you say without factory 7 bladeinch are you stating that the T connection at the lights will not work? Id hate to splice into my wiring for the light bar. Thanks in advance.

For what you are wanting to do the # C55513 will work. It installs by plugging inline with the factory taillight connectors of your 2015 Toyota Tacoma and will give you a 4-way that you can then use for your LED light bar. It's only listed as for "vehicles without a 7-way" because typically if you had a 7-way this wouldn't be the solution you'd be looking for. Since this bypasses all of the factory trailer wiring of your vehicle it will install and work great.
