Question:

My # HM11142464 for my 2015 jeep Cherokee is not working. It is over a year old. I used it twice in the pass. I am seeing a steady 10 volt, on all three lugs of the 4 wire flat , any suggestions.

I do have a way you can test to see what it going on with your Hopkins # HM11142464 unit.

If you are getting constant power on all of the lighting function pins then what you want to do is take a circuit tester like part # PTW2979 and test the wires coming from the connectors that tee in behind the taillights on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee. If those wires don't have constant power going in but they do coming out then the power module is messed up internally and you need to replace your wiring.

Since this has a 90-day limited warranty I recommend installing the Tekonsha T-One # 118605 instead because of how reliable we have found the Tekonsha wiring to be. This unit has a 1-year limited warranty and will install the exact same way as the Hopkins unit.
