Will this work on a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 with this exact gooseneck hitch installed? Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs Item # C611-624 Also can you install the Fifth wheel hitch adapter one way that is closer to the cab and the other way that is farther from the cab like a 4 inch offset ball you can buy for a gooseneck.

There is a way to use a fifth wheel hitch with your 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 that has the Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C611-624.

What you need to use is the Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate for EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C16220 which gives you the ability to use most fifth wheel hitches such as the Curt A20 with Slider # C16541 if your '16 Silverado 2500 is a short bed, or the fixed Curt A20 # C16140 which is a fixed hitch for a long bed.

The Curt A20 will fit right in the X5 adapter and this is a very easy to use and reliable fifth wheel hitch. It uses interlocking dual jaws for complete contact with your king pin to minimize rattling and its indicator system tells you when you are ready to couple, uncouple or tow, which makes this process efficient when compared to other fifth wheel hitches.

There is also the option of using the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 which would not require the use of the X5 adapter because it connects to your hitch ball; however, this is a fixed hitch so you will only want to use it if your Silverado is a long bed.
