What would be the next up size weight rating with each of these 2 hitches ? Since the hitch I had prior was a 25,000 pound rated hitch .

The Reese Elite Series Pre-Assembled 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch RP30143 is only compatible with the Reese Elite Underbed Kit. Unfortunately there is not a compatible leg kit or adapter for your new truck OEM pucks and that hitch head.
The compatible hitch for your truck is the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # RP30890. This hitch is directly compatible with your factory pucks. You may want to consider upgrading to the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3700 which is a very popular option for your truck. It has the easily detached head for easier installation and has the simple adjusters on the base to ensure a perfect fit in your truck.
