Updated 03/28/2019 | Published 03/27/2019 >
Question:
what is the minimum trailer tongue weight the trailer valet xl needs for proper operation ? The trailer would be moved mostly on concrete but sometimes on packed gravel on a slight up hill grade. The trailer has a gross weight of around 4000 lb.

Helpful Expert Reply:
As long as the tongue weight of the trailer is around 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25 is going to work like it was designed for. It does decently on flat surfaces and inclines but if it's an incline with gravel it would depend on how tight the gravel is how well it would work.
