Will 235/75R15 Size Trailer Tires Fit 6 Wide 15 Wheels

Question:

I have stock 235/75/15 trailer tires and want to buy after market wheels. I want to buy a set of 15 x 6 wheels. Can I put my tires on the 6 inch wide rims safely? The back spacing and bolt pattern is good.

Your current tires, similar to the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10303, should fit just fine on 6" wide 15" wheels. Let me know what tires you have and I should be able to verify this.

Typically when someone swaps out their OEM wheels for aftermarket ones they are upgrading. If this is the case then I recommend checking out our linked selection of aluminum 15" wheels. I personally like the Viking Series Valhalla wheels which we have with both the 5 on 4-1/2" # AX02550545BML and 6 on 5-1/2" # AX02560655BML bolt patterns.

If you let me know what your bolt pattern is and what kind of style you are looking for I can make another recommendation if need be.
