Question:
If I use a 50 amp to 15 amp dogbone can I run an extension cord. And does it need to be 10 gauge accompany the 50 amp or is that obsolete? or what are my options if trying to get power to RV from homes sub box? Sub box is currently not being used and can be altered to accommodate. Thank you

I do have an option for you but I called Mighty Cord and they do not recommend that you use an extension cord with the Mighty Cord Dog Bone RV Power Cord Adapter part # A10-1550. If you choose to use an extension cord anyway then you would still be limited to 15 amps which would not allow you to run much in the trailer.
The best option for you would be to have a 50 amp service installed at your home as this would then allow you to use a dedicated 50 amp power cord like the Mighty Cord Detachable RV Power Cord part # A10-5025ED between your house and RV without any power restrictions.
