Solera Slider Awning Support Arm Bracket Mounting on R-Pod

Question:

I have a RPod similar to the one you featured in the installation video. I have a couple of questions concerning the mounting of the support arm bracket. #1 - Given the construction of the RPod wall is there an additional buildup/support required to secure the support arm bracket to the slide out past what you shared in the video? #2 - Do I need to worry about the length of the self tapping screws relative to the wall thickness? The RPod wall thickness is 1 5/16 Thanks much -

Attaching the support arm bracket onto the slide out of your R-Pod would not require special steps beyond what you saw in the install video that I attached. The weight of the slide topper is lighter than you think most likely so the 5 self-tappers on each bracket would be strong enough.
