In my opinion the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Tilting - Gunmetal Gray # NV22G is the best overall bike rack for a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. My reasoning is this bike has features that make the user experience excellent and gives options for expansion.

For instance, the locking wheel hooks are standard on many platform racks and accommodate most bike styles (without fenders) so there is no frame contact, but not all racks can carry bikes up to 60 lbs each and wheels up to 4.8 inches wide...where this rack can.

This bike rack is the only one I know that has an integrated stand to allow you to maintain your bike or fix an issue. It can also be removed and the Tri-Doc # TDSNVO will give you even more portability and adjustability if you desire it.

This bike rack looks nice, is durable, and weighs just 52 lbs. You can also expand the rack to 4 bikes if desired using the add-on # NA22G which will add an additional 30 lbs overall and reduce the weight capacity to 40 lbs per bike, which is still higher than almost all other 4 bike racks.

The rack comes with all the locks needed to secure the rack to your hitch and secure your bikes to the rack to deter theft. With the folding option for storage and tilting option for cargo access, this bike rack has familiar functions, but goes above and beyond with the added benefits for the consumer.
