Where Does Power Come From on MaxxFan Roof Vent
Published 02/28/2019 >
Question:
Why would the fan waiting for a new circuit board keep chirping intermittedly even when Ive pulled the fuse? Should I disconnect the wires while waiting for a new board? Have no idea where the power is coming from. When I pulled the fuse it did stop the fan from running. 2017.5 Winnebago 59K Travato.

A MaxxFan roof vent such as # MA00-04000K comes from the black wire; this vent is a 2-wire design the black wire being the power wire and the white wire being a ground wire. If you undo the black wire this will stop the fan from getting power and the chirping you are experiencing will stop as you wait for a new board.
