Question:
Have a Tiffin Allegro Red 33AA air brakes and need equipment to flat tow a 2019 GMC Canyon Denali. No guides with this exact combination. Want to permanently install brake system in the GMC and use the air from the motorhome to modulate the brakes. I like the system you recommend for a 2016 Silverado 1500. What would you recommend? Thanks!

There are a number of parts needed in order to flat tow your 2019 GMC Canyon Denali, which I'll list for you:
- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-523182-4
- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar # RM-576
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 (Please note this cannot be used if cannot be used if your Canyon is diesel or has dual batteries, though you are still going to need to disconnect your battery to flat tow)
- Supplemental Braking System: SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243
Base plates are vehicle-specific and the Roadmaster are a fit for your '19 Canyon as long as you do NOT have adaptive cruise control; they give your car a clean look, as you can see in the accompanying photo of these base plates when installed.
The Sterling tow bar is a great option because it has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing, along with integrated safety cables so you won't have to purchase them separately, saving you an additional expense.
The wiring kit is designed to effectively prevent electrical feedback to keep your Canyon's electrical system safe, and the SMI Air Force ONe supplemental braking system is highly recommended because it is a one-time install which you can leave in so you'll never have to activate or deactivate it.
Keep in mind you may also need a high-low adapter to ensure you are towing level. I have added a link to a help article on how to select the correct high-low adapter as well as a link to our selection of adapters for you to check out.
I have also added links to instruction manuals, video reviews and installations for you to take a look at.
