Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2019 Toyota Camry for Carrying Thule Bike Rack

Question:

I bought a 2019 Toyota Camry and have a Thule 1 1/4 inch bike rack. I need to purchase the hitch now that must be welded onto the car itself. I also dont know where to go to get it welded on. I live in Sun City Center, FL and really dont want to go into Tampa. Can you help? First what do I have to buy and where can I get it welded onto the car. I have a 2 bike rack, not a one. Thanks

The good news is that the hitches for your 2019 Toyota Camry do not require welding to install. Basically they just bolt into place pretty simply. If you wanted to weld the hitch on I am not totally sure the safest way to do this. For carrying a bike rack I recommend the Curt hitch part # C11576. This will I will work great with your 1-1/4" Thule bike rack.

Any local mechanic with a decent reputation would have no problem installing the hitch also. It's a pretty basic process compared to what they normally deal with.
